Liability Waiver & Policies
Lauren’s Leash LLC will endeavor to create as safe an environment as possible for the training of my dog and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training and training instructions. However, I recognize that Lauren’s Leash LLC is not responsible for any unintended errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions. I understand that the recommendation of any other product or service is not a guarantee of my satisfaction with that product or service. Further, I am and will remain responsible for the actions of my dog at all times and I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lauren’s Leash LLC of any and all claims of injury, expense, cost, or damages caused by the actions of my dog while under Lauren’s Leash LLC instruction or control and under my own care as a result of following training instructions. I have been told by Lauren’s Leash LLC and understand the inherent risks of owning a dog, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to others or myself.
I understand that if I fail to comply with the recommendations provided by Lauren’s Leash LLC, and if, in the judgment of Lauren’s Leash LLC, my pet poses a risk to any human or other animal, then Lauren’s Leash LLC has sole discretion to provide a copy of my behavior report to any animal control, public safety, or other agency of jurisdiction, or as required by law.
I understand that payment is due before or at time of service. Payment for packages is due in full at or before the first appointment. I understand that by paying for a package I am responsible for payment in full regardless of whether I choose to complete the training package.
Cancellations and Refunds
Under no circumstances are refunds given on services that have already been used. Packages are non-refundable from the time of purchase, except in the cases of rehoming or death of a dog, in which case a refund may be requested in the form of an account credit. Package expirations can be found under the description of the package and on receipt of purchase. Unused portions of packages will be forfeited. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than forty-eight hours notice will be forfeited. Appointment is forfeited if client is not home at time of appointment or if the dog and/or apartment is not accessible for a “hand over the leash” appointment. If the client moves outside of the service area, Skype sessions will be offered for the remainder of the package.
